Former emperor of the Skrull Empire
Had a robot girlfriend
As a member of the shapeshifting alien race known as the Skrulls, Kl’rt was one of their finest warriors. Being an essential member during the Battle of Harkoon, he was betrothed a wife from the planet Zaragz’na for his accomplishments and bore two children: his son Sarnogg and his daughter Jazinda. However, his devotion to the empire and the battlefield caused him to neglect time with his family. As a result of repeated failures stacking on top of each other, Kl’rt was disgraced and banished from Zaragz’na, and his wife left him with their children.
However, an opportunity for Kl’rt arose when scientists approached him with an offer: become the first ever Super-Skrull and claim Earth for the empire. Eager to regain his honor, Kl’rt accepted, and was genetically modified to gain all the abilities of the Fantastic Four. With all this power at his fingertips, Kl’rt set off to kill the Fantastic Four and regain his honor. However, no matter how hard he tried, he kept on losing repeated battles against them, and was thus banished once again in disgrace. In his efforts of desperately trying to prove himself several times, Kl’rt was eventually trapped in hyperspace, unable to return to his homeworld and prevent its destruction from the hands…er, mouth, of Galactus.
After escaping his near eternal prison, Kl’rt became aware of the changes and tragedies that came upon his race, with them even losing the ability to shapeshift and the Kree using that as an opportunity to attack them. Kl’rt was outraged, and so worked, albeit reluctantly, with the Silver Surfer to help his people. With his help, the two eventually worked together with the current empress, S’Byll, to restore the abilities of the Skrull race and fight back against the Kree. Soon enough, the space pirate Captain Reptyl joined the fray on the side of the Skrulls. Kl’rt grew jealous of Reptyl’s closeness to S’Byll, whom he developed feelings for, and eventually challenged him to a duel, ending with Reptyl’s victory by ripping out Kl’rt’s throat. The Super-Skrull was finally dead…
…but not really. Turns out he faked his death and was just in a coma to heal himself, all in benefit for S’Byll. After finally awakening and returning back to his homeworld, Kl’rt finally gained what he wanted: the praise and respect of his people. After so long, he once again proved himself a warrior for them, and had everything he wanted…but he couldn’t accept it. He couldn’t accept the idea that he had to purposefully fake defeat in order to gain what he wanted: it was a disgrace to his honor. In spite of his orders to stand down and pretend to be dead to certain parties, Kl’rt disobeyed his orders and flew to Reptyl’s ship, slaughtering him and his crew. As a consequence, Kl’rt was stripped from his rank and left again in disgrace.
Wanting to, once again, redeem himself in the eyes of his empire, Kl’rt went to Earth again and tried to conquer it several times to no avail. Growing tired of his repeated failures, Kl’rt decided to settle down on Earth as a new person, taking up the identity of Lon Zelig. However, Kl’rt made a shocking discovery during his time on Earth: his old enemy Captain Marvel bore a child, with a Skrull no less! This Skrull was Teddy Altman, also known as Hulkling. Realizing that Teddy could be the key to reuniting the Skrull Empire, Kl’rt sought to find Hulkling first and bring him to his people, at the unfortunate cost of killing his foster mother. Amidst the desperate battle, Kl’rt came to realize that Teddy belonged on Earth, and made the sacrifice of pretending to be Hulkling so that the young boy wouldn’t have to go.
However, his ruse was never discovered, as soon after, the Annihilation Wave was unleashed upon the galaxy, destroying planet after planet and instigating a full on war. Aware of the danger the Skrull Empire was in, Kl’rt opted to fight on behalf of his people and defend them, but kept on narrowly escaping with his life. He became desperate to stop the Wave, knowing all too well it would be a matter of time before they target Zaragz’na and destroy his son. Kl’rt left the empire in rage, entering the Negative Zone to destroy their weapon, the Harvester. Along the way, he led a resistance force against the Annihilation Wave and formed bonds, even falling in love with a robot named Praxagora.
It was at this point that Kl’rt learned why he always failed in his fights against the Fantastic Four: they were a family. Everytime they fought, it was for one another. Their trust in each other is their true strength, and he never understood it until the life of his son was in danger. Unfortunately, despite all his efforts, Zaragz’na was destroyed, and his son along with it. Grief-stricken but determined for revenge, Kl’rt fought his way to the deepest parts of the Harvester alongside Praxagora before finally entering the core. Praxagora was prepared to self-destruct and take the weapon down with her, but Kl’rt refused to leave her. Not willing to see another loved one die again, Kl’rt confessed his love to her and absorbed her energy, sacrificing himself to destroy the Harvester in her place. In the end, Kl’rt finally did an action of good and was hailed a hero.
Kl’rt would eventually be revived and become a key member in defeating Annihilus and ending his rampage throughout the galaxy. Since then, Kl’rt has finally seen the side of good and has made actions to atone for his past sins. He helped free the Kree galaxy from the Phalanx and worked alongside the Galactic Council and Avengers to defend against the Builders. His journey from warrior to savior of the universe earned him the literal crowning moment of becoming emperor of the Skrull Empire, for a time at least, finally regaining his honor like he always wanted. In time, Kl’rt worked alongside others to end the age long conflict between the Kree and Skrulls and eventually joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, vowing to become a protector of the universe at all costs.
Experience
Being trained in the art of warfare by the Skrull military, Kl’rt was a skilled and capable fighter for the empire, even prior to his genetic modifications. He participated in the brutal Battle of Harkoon against the Kree Empire, being one of the head generals, and performed so well he was rewarded for his actions. He’s shown his capability in leadership in other situations, such as amassing and leading an entire resistance force against the Annihilation Wave and successfully executing a plan to destroy their greatest weapon.
Despite having his powers for less time than the Fantastic Four, he’s arguably just as, if not more creative and skilled with his powers than either of them. Easy examples showcasing this would be removing the limbs of a person and cauterizing the stubs in a way designed to suffer, or turning his limbs into thin razors for easy cutting. Mans just built different.
Abilities
Shapeshifting
As befitting of a Skrull, Kl’rt has the ability to shapeshift to his heart's desire, whether it be into organic or inorganic matter. He often uses this ability to deceive others and uses this to his advantage by posing as a hero, with others unaware of his true appearance. However, Kl’rt can use this ability for combat as well, such as turning himself into a battering ram to, well, ram into his enemies. Kl’rt can even copy the abilities of whomever he mimics, such as Captain Hero’s intangibility or Iron Fist’s…well, Iron Fist.
Hypnosis
One of his more unique abilities, the Super-Skrull can hypnotize enemies with just a glance. The extent of this ability can range from simply stunning an enemy for an opening to attack, forcing others to do actions against their will, or erase memories. He’s even capable of invoking hypnotism with just his laughter.
Fantastic Four Power Mimicry
After being genetically re-engineered by Skrull scientists, Kl’rt gained all the abilities of the Fantastic Four. Not only is he capable of mimicking their abilities to comparable, and even to superior degrees, but he gains extra tools and powers that the original members don’t possess, making him a wildly unpredictable foe.
While he originally required the aid of energy rays from his planet to use these abilities, repeated exposure to it over the years left these powers permanent to him, and he no longer requires the transmission beam to maintain these abilities.
Super-Strength
With the incredible might and stamina of The Thing, Kl’rt gains unbelievable supernatural strength. This has helped him contend with some of the finest warriors in his universe, such as Captain Marvel, Namor, Hulk, Thor, and more.
Pyrokinesis
With the powers of the Human Torch, Kl’rt gains the ability to…use fire. Big shock. While most of his abilities are relatively the same, they’re enhanced to be outright superior to what the Human Torch can do. He can turn his body into fire bright enough to blind a person, fly around and maintain his flaming body for prolonged periods of time, gain resistance to heat, mold weapons made out of fire, such as a war mace, a scythe, chains, and even a bow and arrow, and shoot flaming blasts hot enough to incinerate entire bodies.
Beyond just the basics, Kl’rt gains separate new abilities as well. He can fry the very air around someone until it turns into black carbon, preventing sight, and shoot plasma blasts of anti-matter. Most impressively, he can absorb large amounts of heat, even if it’s an infinite amount, though absorbing too much can prove to be fatal.
Invisibility
With the powers of Invisible Woman, Kl’rt can, of course, turn his body completely invisible. This allows him to remain undetected by most, leaving him free to beat up anyone unsuspecting of him. As an additional ability, Kl’rt can see anything invisible and get rid of something or someone's invisibility, revealing their location.
Psionic Force Fields
Kl’rt has access to Susan’s other ability, an invisible forcefield. Being as durable as the original, these force fields can hold off hits from even the mighty Mjolnir without breaking, though defense isn’t their only usage. Kl’rt can summon them on top of others to prevent them from moving, trap opponents inside a bubble, create constructs for uses such as sealing doors, or summon them inside someone's brain to crush it. All of these uses are limited by his imagination, making them extremely versatile options.
Elongation
With the ability of Mr. Fantastic’s awesome stretching, Kl’rt can mold his entire body into elastic proportions for various uses. He can stretch for over 100 miles, enlarge his body, form a cage from his arms, flatten himself against an asteroid, turn his fist larger than a human body, extend his arm in combat for greater range, and rubberize his body to defend against various attacks.
Regeneration
While not shown much, Kl’rt has displayed a healing factor in certain instances. He’s used it to recover from injuries such as a hole in his chest or having half of his face blown off. Should a wound prove too fatal, Kl’rt can enter into a deep coma to heal himself, even if he gets his throat ripped out.

Scaling
Mr. Fantastic: Kl’rt has reacted to attacks from Reed and defeated him several times.
The Thing: Kl’rt is stated several times to have strength equal to, if not greater than Ben, and has matched him in combat.
Resists and breaks a hydraulic press that can push through a planet
Beats the hell out of Umbra hard enough that She-Hulk is worried he might end up killing him. Umbra is a merged being of two aliens, who earlier on survived being absorbed in a vortex with the pull of a black hole, destroying the planet they were on, having themselves and the planet's remains pulled into the core of a red giant star, zapped through a wormhole across the universe, exploding into the core of the sun, and blasted out of it jesus fucking christ
Fought Blastaar, who survived being inside the Big Bang for a small while
Invisible Woman: Kl’rts force fields are directly stated to be equal to Sue’s.
Briefly contains an explosion made by Silver Surfer and Terrax, which blasted everything in it to subatomic dust
Blocked Volcana’s energy blast, who can output the heat of a small star
Human Torch: Kl’rt has matched Johnny’s flames before and ran circles around him.
Can reach the temperature of a supernova and sustain it for a couple of minutes
Flies to the planet Spyre in a relatively short time frame, which is located 44 light years away from Earth
Namor: Kl’rt has held his own against the Sub-Mariner in a fight. Namor has also battled the Fantastic Four multiple times, who Kl’rt obviously scales to.
Catches up to Doctor Doom’s rocket ship, which traveled close to the sun in a relatively short time frame
Thor: While not as consistent, Kl’rt has had a couple fights with Thor and performed well, being capable of damaging him, blocking strikes from Mjolnir with his forcefield, and reacting to Mjolnir.
Shattered planets thousands of miles away in his fight with Gorr
Traveled the universe in moments to answer a prayer also fought Wolverine who can fight in Blightspoke, a realm above the multiverse where collapsed realities are stored. In this fight, entire universes shattered around and atop Logan, but he was able to continue fighting.
The Hulk: Kl’rt has matched She-Hulk in combat, who has fought Hulk before and has shown to be comparable to him.
Weaknesses
- Extremely arrogant to a fault; this has caused him to lose plenty of fights
- Powerful enough whirlwind or rain can snuff out his flaming powers
- Should his hypnotism be reflected back at him, it’ll affect him and leave him vulnerable
- Is susceptible to having his soul being sealed/stolen
- Using multiple powers at once drains him of his strength
- Shields aren’t foolproof and can be outflanked
- Absorbing too much heat can kill him
Possible Opponents
Cell
It do be good doe
